De-clutter, clean and organise as much as you can as early as you can. Spreading the work over a month or so is vital to minimise stress and unforeseen problems as well as whittling down what you REALLY need to take to your new home.
Make sure you have setup your services to be connected so you have peace of mind that you will arrive with all the ability to instantly start binge watching your favourite Netflix series and cook plenty of popcorn and pizza!
In the weeks before...
If you haven't already...CONTACT US to get your free removal quote! You still have plenty of time but its wise not to leave it much longer..
Start making sure all your furniture will actually fit in the new house and start making a furniture plan. You will be surprised how often people forget to do this and then are faced with an indoor sofa becoming an outdoor sofa!
If we are not packing for you then start packing up items you wont immediately need. Empty the attic/loft and clear up the sheds and other often forgotten spaces. The more organised you are the easier the process.
Re direct your post. You can do this at www.Royalmail.com. You can also write down any and people, groups and organisations that need to be informed and send emails, cards or texts to let them know your new address.
Removing fitting and fixtures from walls and ceilings ready to be packed.
The day before the move...
Contact your solicitor or landlord and check everything is ok and confirm when and where to pick up the keys.
If its a long move consider having a a bag or two with essentials like toilet roll, food and drink at the ready. This is no time to be getting hangry!
If you can try and clear/save some parking space for our vans so we dont waste time or end up unable to park close by on the day.

If unsuccessful the day before please try again to clear room for us to park.
Welcome us with open arms and joy as we arrive fully prepared to do all the hard work while you watch in awe at our lifting prowess in full swing!
